Going to Cradles for Crayons is a fun way for me to help the needy. I helped out by cleaning shoes and sorting clothes by size. I like Cradles for Crayons since there are fun activities like shopping, cleaning, sorting etc…. and while you are doing that you are helping the needy.

The trip to Cradles to Crayons was a very fun and rewarding experience. We got to see firsthand how donations are processed and checked for quality. It was exciting to be a part of the process and help children get good quality items. The trip brought the knowledge that there are many, many kids less fortunate than ourselves to the front of our minds. We became more aware of the underprivileged children’s need by helping organize the donations. The entire visit was made even more fun by having a lot of the NEKK kids there to talk to while sorting. Overall, it was a great trip and hopefully we can aid even more kids next time.
