Ugadi 2012
Dear NEKK Members,
We were happy to celebrate Yugaadi with you at NEKK on April 14, 2012. “Bevu bella, reshami seeregalu, yugaadi haadugalu, last but not the least, yugaadi habbada oota”- all summed it up pretty well for each of us that currently call Boston a home away from home. The variety in the entertainment lineup, color, comedy & melody – added hours of fun to the festive evening. We would like to sincerely thank everybody that attended the function. We also want to thank all participants, committees, their families & volunteers that have worked very hard to make it a successful Yugaadi event.

- Foot tapping medleys of various sandalwood chartbusters, fusion, folk and classical dance & songs all by local talented teams.
- “Santhoshake Haadu Santhoshake” – Lahari Boston brings the best of Ilayaraja’s melodies.
- “New England Nalayakaru” is ready to jolt your every funny bone with their new comedy “Kaleya Kaggole”.
- Teen time by our very own talented Mandara teenagers,
- And drum roll Please… be ready to float away in “bhaavaloka” with our own Star singer “Sowmyashree Sandeep and Team” !!!
